A Study on the Status of Health Statistics Product in Korea and OECD Health Data

Abstract

|
|
Background : Correct health data and information are important and necessary in modern country. The purpose of this study is to investigate status of health statistics product in Korea and OECD Health Data.
Method : To achieve this study, review reference related with health data and OECD health data.
Results : 372 formal statistics data are product in Korea and 36 formal statistics data are product through Ministry of Health and Welfare. There are 532 categories of 2003 OECD requested health statistics, and 60.2% were produced and submitted. Comprehensive health statistics productive method is proposed.
Conclusion : We need more health data, correct data, and development of health statistics productive system
